4: Those with an insane ability to talk fluidly re specific artworks having never previously experienced said artworks
5: Those standing too close to a sculpture by Gerald Laing
6: Those who once assisted Hockney but have since become civil servants such is the necessity for an ‘addictive personality’ (of some kind) in order to be ‘respected’ or ‘well-liked’ within the Art world
7: Those who already own ~10 Paolozzis but would ‘just love’ a couple more
8: Those who, at events like this, will only ever talk about Barthelme – Barthelme on Art, Barthelme as Art, etc.
9: Those who question the medium — large asking prices of very small works
10: Those who question the importance of Enoc Perez
11: Those who question the importance of Peter Doig
12: Those who had only previously experienced Riley via the google image search ‘optical art’ and who, on stumbling across Riley’s work, drunk on free wine, can’t believe/won’t accept the ‘spiritual affect’ of specific works in real life
